It's currently jacaranda blooming season, so we visited Chiayi to admire the view. Pictures don't do justice to the true beauty of these trees. Jacaranda is absolutely stunning in person.
Jacaranda is a genus of trees known for their stunning displays of vibrant blue to purple flowers. They are native to Central and South America and are widely cultivated for their ornamental value. When they bloom, their branches become covered in clusters of trumpet-shaped flowers, creating a striking canopy of color. Jacaranda trees are often planted along streets and in parks for their beauty, attracting bees and butterflies as pollinators. They thrive in full sun and well-drained soil.
