This place with Easter Lilies is just someone's small garden, but it still attracts some tourists. It was quite difficult to find since the address couldn't be found on Google Maps, but it's located somewhere near the Nanjiu Xianweng Temple in the Bengang Cultural District and the Chiayi Newport Ancient Bengang Hong Kong Cultural District.
These lilies were planted by a grandmother. She initially moved with her family to Taipei but didn't enjoy city life. She then decided to return to the countryside and live alone. The old-style house with Easter Lilies has become a local tourist attraction.
The sad thing is that tourists who come here don't seem to respect someone's garden and end up stepping on the flowers while taking selfies. I witnessed many older people trying to position themselves in the middle of this small flower area, unintentionally damaging many lilies along the way.
We also wanted to see another garden with lilies in Yunlin, but we arrived after their blooming season.

We also made a stop in Tainan's Baihe District. Every year from May to July, Baihe attracts tourists with its lotus ponds. Baihe produces 2/3 of all lotus seeds in Taiwan. From June to September, the Lotus Festival is held here to promote the tourism industry. The town offers activities such as lotus picking, lotus tea ceremonies, painting, lotus-based meals, and ice creams. The only other place in the country that organizes the Lotus Festival is Taoyuan, which is the second-largest producer of lotus in Taiwan.
