We came to Tongluo to see the chrysanthemum fields, and we were fortunate to have great weather today ~ sunny and warm. We had visited this place four years ago as well, but from what I remembered, it was busier with more food stalls and many more blooming flowers compared to the current visit. Towards the end of our trip, we found out that the actual Chrysanthemum Festival will start next week, which explains why it wasn't as crowded today. However, compared to the past, there are fewer fields growing chrysanthemums this year. The chrysanthemum season lasts for the next three months. This time, I didn't come across any food items related to chrysanthemums except for chrysanthemum tea, but in the past, there were also stalls selling deep-fried chrysanthemum flowers.
