Foreigner - not only english teacher

Many times I've been asked, "Are you an English teacher?" It seems that Taiwanese people, when they see foreigners, often jump to this assumption... It's as if they can only think about two options: being from America or Britain! Lol, as if there are no more countries in the world. I've never heard questions like "Where are you from?" or "What's your job?" Instead, there are only assumptions about me being an American and being an English teacher...

While there are indeed many foreigners teaching English and other languages, there are also those engaged in other activities, such as selling food or art. I've met some who sell their paintings and handmade art, as well as others who run street food stalls.

I wanted to create a short list of places, mostly located in the South of Taiwan, where you can find foreigners involved in various ventures. Unfortunately, many places open and close pretty quickly, but there are also some that have survived the tough times and continue to thrive, still selling their goods.
