Happy Lunar New Year! During our visit to Baoshan Cherry Blossom Park, we made another stop at Jiaxian. This small mountain town is known for its production of taro. You can find various taro products there, such as taro ice cream, mochi with taro filling, taro cakes (similar to radish cakes), taro shaved ice, and deep-fried taro. Some shops even offer more unique food options, like mountain rat, barking deer, and deep-fried crickets.
While there aren't many attractions in Jiaxian, visitors often enjoy strolling through a small alley adorned with umbrellas. It's a charming spot to take photos, especially if you're with kids. Additionally, there are many murals on the old buildings, adding to the town's artistic charm.
