Daqing Incense Factory (大慶製香)
Daqing Incense Factory is a century-old incense industry located in Xingang, Chiayi. The original factory was opened in 1898, and the current Daqing Incense Factory was established in 1989 by 謝宏銘. Since 2009, it has been operated by his son 謝博全.
The factory is dedicated to producing high-quality incense, and their expertise in the craft is evident in the products they create. While the factory operates daily to ensure a steady supply of incense, they open their doors to visitors on weekends, allowing people to witness the production process firsthand.
The visiting hours are from 9 AM to 4 PM. Parking along the road is convenient, and if the weather permits, you can see incense displayed in front of the factory. Although the place is not large, it offers picturesque surroundings. The bright red and green colors of the factory look particularly beautiful in the sunshine.

ReplyDeleteI think it might be seasonal or really disappeared? We passed by recently and it really didn't have incense. Cannot confirm if they still will place the incense out or not later on this year
